I presume you've checked the power steering fluid level??

We had a borrowed Renault scenic before we got the coupe and there was a leak on the power steering fluid pipe which meant when we had it on full lock the fluid was spraying out.
When it got below a certain level it would start screaming and not knowing what was going on we freaked (as the car wasn't ours) only found out what the problem was when we took it to a friendly mechanic.

Will check the fluid level and belt condition when I get home tonight.. Just had a service so thought they would of checked all that stuff?? But saying that the didn't top up my cooling fluid after they drained it when they rebuilt my engine. Luckly I noticed that before I drove the car off that it was empty! lol

yeh think it deff is a belt then.. Any ideas how much they cost to get a replacement?

Do the tension first, my belts were replaced in the summer of '07, then started to scream when the cold weather hit in the winter of '07/'08 ;)
