On the 2nd November 2008, and on the 1st of march 2009, we had two very successful Rolling Road Meetings in Essex at 'Atspeed Racing'.
We had all of the engines, Beta1, BetaII , the 1.6, the V6, and even a 1.5 Accent! All of these engines were in different stages of ‘modified development’ and so all made different numbers. But, for those of us who like to look past the numbers, it will a great insight into the power figures created by different parts, engine mileages, and the like.

I shall start with the League Table, so this is nice and noticeable when this page is opened by viewers. It shall be updated as and when updates arrive! :D
I hope this will spark some more interest in the pursuit for more power, and that at the next dyno meet we will see yet more people and yet higher figures!

Ok, this is ALL WHP figures. Torque and @ RPMs will be added shortly once I get all the data through. So this is kind of skeleton-like compared to how I intend to finish it off. Anyway;

1 Steve B- 2.0L : 168.9hp @4,900rpm (Turbo)
2 Macker - 2.7L : 162.8hp @ 5,800
3 Owain 2.7L : 153.7hp @ 6,000rpm
4 Mark- 2.7L : 152hp @ 5,100rpm
5 V.6 Coupe - 2.7L : 150.9 @ 5,050rpm
6 Ukdegu113 - 2.0L : 142hp @
7 Rik n Vik- 2.0L : 131.7hp @6,050rpm
8 Androo007 - 2.0L : 126hp @ 6,100rpm
9 Lambsie - 2.0L : 126hp @ 5,800rpm
10 Staffpeted- 2.0L : 124.1hp @ 6,100rpm
11 Steveo- 2.0L: 123.6hp @ 5,750rpm
12 Ian - 2.0L : 123.5hp
13 100scout - 2.0L : 121.2hp
14 Lakez - 2.0L : 120.6 @ 5,550rpm
15 Dodgemeister - 2.0L : 119.6 @ 5,700rpm
16 Krill - 2.0L : 119.1 @ 6,100rpm
17 Joeshyundai - 2.0L : 118.4hp @ 5,650rpm
18 Tim - 2.0L : 115.9 @ 5,500rpm
19 1.6 Gen2 - : 90.4hp (is this you? sorry, didnt take your name! :) )
20 Maxaccent- 1.5L : 87.1hp @ 5,750rpm
21 Mgz17- 1.6L : 84.5hp @ 6,250rpm

So theres the League Table! Subject to change.
If anyone else has a dyno result they wish to post, let me know and I will add it. But it MUST be in --WHP-- as BHP is not reliable between different dynos. (nor is whp, technically. but it’s a much safer bet.)

As I say, all data is not yet in my hands, if I have gotten anything slightly wrong above, let me know and I will correct it. But I shall revise it once I get all the graphs anyway. So no fear! :D

(Mods, brands, engine models, mileage, air temps, pressures, etc to be added below in the coming days)

Aaron

NOTE: please dont post on this Sticky. it is for reference and clear reading of results. Any questions, chat, suggestions about the results please begin a new topic in the Engine section: this thread will become useless if cluttered by hundreds of posts that restrict the clear reading of old and new results postings.
:)

Sorry about delay, works been busy, been waiting for graphs etc.
Speaking of graphs - Atspeeds CD and new software is HUGE! im currently messing around with it trying to view a .bum file extension! lol. (which is the format of the graphs. wish they had just done screen shots!!! lol)

Okay, how shall i do this?: what il do, im going to make a seperate post for each and every Coupe that went onto the dyno. that way, if anyone does another run, or a new Coupe joins the list, i havent got to try and edit a mess of text and graphs!

Please click the link that says ''watch this topic'' at the bottom left of the screen to be made aware of future edits- there may be a few!

Notes(?)
Scout achieved this run with his AirCon switched ON.
on a back-2-back test with it on and off, the car made slightly more power (2hp) with it on than off. but we think that was due to the increased air circulation to the air filter in the otherwise stationary car.
O, and Scout also had a slight exhaust leak in the manifold. this probably cost him some power.

Took it back after fitting a PiperX SRi and full S/S exhaust system (Powerflow piping with *** header)

chart to follow ;)

What happened here? the most powerfull 2.0l of the day had the most used engine, and what some may call ''gimmic mods''. still, we were all very impressed and jelous of he results gained by this motor.

The Dyno guys said the A/F ratio on the graph would be a little inaccurate, due to an unusual amount of water coming out of the back of the exhaust and onto the sensor!

MGZ '' No!''
Ian ''well you should! Look at that puddle!....''

Turbo Coupe!
a quick mapping saw the coupe extend its power past peak @5,000rpm. this had just been set-up with a basic map. It is still a work-in=progress, and is bedding in.
we should be seeing bigger gains next time :)

Hello Gents

I put my standard 05 Gen3.5 V6 on the rollers today.
Engine: 2.7l (6 Speed Manual)
In a Gen: 3.5
Mileage: 19,000
Power input: Naturally Apirated

Mods:
NONE whats so ever!!!!

I have dyno sheets for both WHP and BHP on the same run!

This is the graph for the WHP

And now the graph for the BHP

If I'm right from these graphs, I have lost about 35hp though the transmission!
