Coupe FX ?

It seems like it is an import of some kind coz i found this on a review web site, (I moved to Spain a year ago and treated myself to the 2.0-litre coupe. It's called the FX over here.) It seems to be the equivelant to our SE. Also found a site in ireland and they called it the FX aswell. Hope a figured it out! :confused

I didn't think the suspension would be any different - that'd be a very unusual modification for a model from the standard line-up.

I couldn't see any mention of a different suspension setup for any model in that article, only about the brakes and equipment ? Maybe I missed it :shrug

It would be very odd to make it different due to manufacturing cost as much as anything. Maybe the USA market is different because of the larger number they are able to sell there though. Traditionally USA spec cars do have different setup to the European spec cars but I have no idea if this is the case here.

Regards the FX I think there is a good chance it was from Ireland as they are also FX cars, but maybe if any company decided to do Euro imports they could also be FX.

the FX models are imports and there arn't that many in the uk....... i did look at a Gen 3 1.6 FX and the only diffrance was it had a sun roof and cruise control.

thanks for maybe answering my quiery. but on the link to that site it mensions (The FX is distinguished from the base Tiburon by its rear spoiler, fog lights and alloy wheels.) Now dosnt the F2 have a different spoiler with Mclaren modifing the suspension?

All F2 Evo coupes are also classed as S.E coupes on the log book as they left the factory as S.E coupes and then when they arrived in the UK were sent to Milton Keynes MSD Factory where they were all modified and rebadged. :cool:

Phil: Errr no!! Evo's should be down as Evo's on the registration doc's. Their 1st registration was after the work was completed by MSD, not at import, as MSD were doing the work Hyundai's behalf.

an FX is an SE but just different names in different countries e.g vauxhall in england opel in sum others.
