please dont do it, my mate had a 150bhp calibra, pre safety features and cat, so it was light, and he took a run at some v8 american car, it was doing 40 and he was doing 80 and still accelerating, all you see is the back of this car drop and then leave him for dust, and it was mad, just don't do it, you got no hope

if you don't mind you engine lasting 20 seconds, use a 200 shot of nos lol

Jer-shark, I assume he wants a drag race but you said a short track. If the short track had a hairpin and an "s"bend you would cream him. If he wants to go in a straight line ask him if he's afraid of getting beat in the turns. Another thought, 300bhp is not a lot when attached to a tank, your car is quite light. Anybody can make big horses go in a straight line, the skill is in handling the horses through the curves. Now go practice curves and watch for that Sherrif!
If he went to the strip he'd be lucky to draw a Tib in the other lane. Horses for courses, as they say.
