Proberly been asked 1000's of times but what is the difference between an F2 and an F2 evolution.

The Hp figure is overstated though - the rest of the mods that were planned to take it to the 154Hp claimed never made production.

Power and 0-60 times always seem to be exaggerated! What was the original power out of the F2 Evo when it came out of the factory?

2.0SE gen1 has around 125Hp at the flywheel, the EVO had the higher lift inlet cam from the 1.8 engine and a Magnex developed backbox. Those 2 are the only performance differences, probably giving a net increase of 10Hp at the fly. If that.

The ECU, ignition and induction systems remain common to both, they even fitted a restrictor in the front pipe of the EVO - possibly to negate the effects of the Magnex backbox. I mean, WTF!
