fabulous job gotta agree with lidl though why do people do that? its like hig sticking a turbo badge on.why cant people just accept its a 1.6 or 2.0

I respect the hard work and effort put in to this project...... but why ruin a gen 2?

If anyone wants to try it Then I still have the entire front end (including wings and head+fog lights). The rear bumper is provisionally sold (but could fall through) but have the rear lights too and backbox.
All that is missing from that conversion is the bootlid and rear 1/4s lol.

I knew that would get a response.

I think it looks alright in the photos.

Something tells me if you saw it from the side it wouldn't look quite as good though.

Edit: *it's slowly growing on me... slowly*

thats a really good conversion, it must have cost a fortune, only was u can tell is the Gen2 curves on the side of the doors,etc,


would prob have been cheaper and easier to get an actual SIII.

i quite like that. fair play to him must have taken ages to do. would like to see how he's done the interior.
