Hi.

So I was looking at modifying my coupe and I came across the Hana Motors Rear Diffuser.

Does anybody have any experience to share with me. Things I would like to know are

1) what does it do
2) how long and how difficult is it to fit.
3) in hind sight was it worth fitting it.

I think dupes got one.. and without being able to find the thread, I think the conclusion was it looks pretty (but that's about all it does) and hindsight says no.

I could be wrong, as I said I cant find the post.

the one on dupes car looks like a badly fitted tow bar without the ball. A ppain to fit aswell

I'm pritty sure the title sayes Siii not Gen3.

If its the black diffuser that sits on the very underside of the bumper i believe it just fits over the standard diffuser. have been thinkin about it myself but not looked very far into it due to lack of funds

If we ignore the looks issues anyone has, are the rest like fitting problems, lack of difusing properties etc. not carried over to the siii?

tbh i don't know, tbh unless your goin at racing speeds it would only be for it's looks. and if anythin it should in theory diffuse better as the channels are deeper, slightly longer and i think steeper. could be wrong, unfortunately im no engineer.

Dupes was a Concepto were it not ?

I wanna see one of these SIII diffusers !

wouldn't it be useful on a national speed road or something like that? or would you not feel the diffuser until like 80 - 90+ ?

most diffusers do nothing except
A.look daft
B.look pretty

most are not functional,to do anything they have to be quite a big unwieldy thing.iv seen the siii one.it looks pretty good.mine is concepto

if someone wants to help sponsor it, ill give it a go and give a full report on fitting, styling and its use on the road

i like the siii one.mine looks too add on.then again most people do seem to like mine when they see it now
