thats a hell of a lot for just a bit of pipe. scoot around ebay and else where i'm sure you could get it for much much less. and provided you konw how to use a spanner and ratchet you could fit it yourself to save you some more money

Yeah i agree that is far to much for so little work.

3/16 cunifer 25ft i got for less than a tenner, and because its cunifer it doesn't corrode so no more failures re-use the unions 5mins in a vice with the flaring tool less than £20 for one that will do it even though it wont be the best.
they are trying to have you over mate, go somewhere else. Then tell them that they are being reported to vosa and trading standards.
i hate garages that do this.

having just seen your avatar pic i see its a gen 3 I've never had a car that new(assuming its the oldest of the gen 3's) fail on brake pipes bar the odd cracked flexi. And i've tested over 30 cars this year alone.

Yeh that usually happens on exhausts, you can either keep trying to get them undone or just drill them out and get new bolts.

thats the problem, all i can find in my area is garages that wont touch my car cos iv bought the parts, im thinking i need a saw, the ability to lift my car really high up, an just cut the bolts off, drill out whats left then use new bolts, sigh my lack of repair funds is really prolonging this
