Iv spent more on my car than it is actually worth.

If it keeps you happy then why not. It keeps me occupied when i get to DIY.

Plus i want my car to look nice and be different. Simples

theres lots of reasons... if you could design your perfect car in the first place then maybe you wouldnt need to (but you probably would anyway as youll only go "oh wait i could have had....")

some people want to stand out from the crowd, some want to learn about their car and how parts work in the process, some want to turn heads, some have an aim to make a sleeper (a car that looks stock so when people in faster cars take it on in a race are humiliated by thinking they lost to something smaller) and some just do it because theyve too much time and money.

one thing is for sure though... its a bug. once you have it youll NEVER get rid of it. most modders start out thinking all people who mod their cars are chavs and its a waste of money. then one day theyll get an idea to do ONE LITTLE MOD, something mabe tasteful and subtle.... but a mod none-the-less. then it escalates at a staggering rate lol
