I do wonder how much of the handbrake issue is down to lack of training. Whatever I drive, rather than just yank the handle up (button in or out) I'll always try to feel that it's properly engaged.

Mind you, I've still had a shock when I've accidentally elbowed the button whilst hoovering the car and the handbrake handle's dropped with a bang! :shock:

Fortunately it was on the flat.

your performance question.
if you want more buy a v6.it saves all the messing
but bear in mind v6 alot more expensive to run,ad before they all start shouting "no it isnt" remember this.the v6 is 400 quid for 12 months tax and 200 for 2.0.so your 200 down immediately
