Hi All,

This question has probably been asked thousands of times but whats the best oil for the 2.0L S111.The reason I ask is I have a s**t load of 10/40W semi-synthetic left over from my owning a Ford Probe and wondered if it is suitable .I know car is under warrenty but the first service is 10,000mls and I don't like leaving oil in that long so was going to change it at 5,000 what do you think :?:

I may be wrong mate but i think 10W40 is what is recommended for it, i would always go synthetic rather than semi synthetic but it wont do it any harm, especially not if your planning on changing it every few K

I pick up my TSIII on Saturday, and would love to know if this takes 10/40W - for obvious reasons lol.
