Im thinking about buying a 2.0 SIII, because i love the looks, and the equipment is also quite decent too!

I sat in one today at my local dealer, and 'fiddled' around to see what it was all about. As far as i can see it was all good. The headroom was ok for me, and the full red leather looked great, my fiance also loved it too, which is a bonus!

I tried to get a test drive, but the dealer told me to come back on thursday because they took something off the car, to fix another, and its an essential part, something to do with the brakes, so i belived him when he said it was essential lol.

What do all of you think to the car, and does it perform and run ok. My dad used to own a Hyundai, and he said it was always reliable, so thats reassured me.

Also, does the interior seem up to the job?

Yeah the Coupes are great.very very little goes wrong with them!i have had mine over a year and modded it a nice bit and there is no squeeks or rattles (over tho i have a hole in the centre console....long story!) i think the interior stands up well, but i condition my leather a good bit too keep it looking well.

I'm currently on my 3rd coupe which happens to be a 2.0 SIII great car smooth reliable and although not the fastest you just can't get away from the grin factor when you drive it. If they were crap I wouldn't have had a 2nd never mind a 3rd.

No known issues as far as I know an dteh interior is excellent although with the SIII you may want to turn the blue display down a bit.

Just bought a 2.0 SIII myself and picked it up last Friday. My first Coupe and although its early days i totally agree with Albert Tatlock about the grin factor whenever i get in it. Love the car and love the handling. MPG i would say is lov 30's but then i tend to have a heavy right foot so it will all depend on how you drive it obviously.

I'm seriously thinking of an SIII too. Local dealer has a sky blue 2.0 57 plate with 10k available. Had a test drive in it today and it was lovely.

One question. I currently have a Suzuki Swift Sport, which runs on Super Unleaded. Does the 2.0 need Super or just the regular 95RON ?

I'm in the market for an Siii 2007 as well, just deliberating about what colour to go for, and looking for a mint one in my neck of the woods. I'll probably go for Silver I think.

Buck's right, go with your first instinct. I did and got the same as what you are after. Silver SIII with Red Leather interior and it is superb. I was thinking of doing it safe and getting a Saab at the time of looking but i know for sure now i totally made the right choice in getting my baby........
