lol top speed for the 1.6 114MPH lol i had mine to 125Mph and then i stoped as a lorry was getting close very quick

Data figures for speeds etc are always miles off it seems. I got 125 ( it possibly couldnt go any quicker at all due to the drag) out of my 1.6 03 civic 5 door. I know theres some error in calibration of speedo's but still that was only supposed to do 114.

Just a quick question while im here. Whilst looking on the old forums i saw people talking about gen 3.5's? i thought there was only up to a gen3.. or had i misread a few things completely wrong?. If there is a 3.5 whats the main differences

The gen3.5 is simply the gen3 face lift, like on Phils avatar We decided 3.5 was easier to say/type than 'facelift'

As you probably know (pc) manufacturers are constrained by regulations. The speedo can read -0% to +10% so they always allow for the reading to be + some% otherwise its a recall.

my picasso has a top speed of 122mph...I dont think.. but thats what it digitally read when someone once looked at it somewhere. If you knock a full ten per cent off thats approx loads anyway.

Wouldnt it be better on our roads to have a top speed of 90mph and phenomenal acceleration through the gears? C.R. gearbox wanted!!
