I've got the Tuscani caps on my new wheels and figured a DIY was in order as the caps you get online from PC (or anywhere else) for the 17" V6 wheels don't fit on the optional 17" rims that some coupes came with. The wheels I'm talking about are these: The caps for these are around 10mm smaller than the V6 caps. What you need to do is the following: Separate the metal face of the Tuscani caps from the plastic back using a small flathead screwdriver and very carefully prying it off. You'll end up with something like this: Using some 3m tape cut strips and stick it to the back side of the Tuscani cap: Now stick the Hyundai cap to the Tuscani cap making sure it is in the centre: You'll end up with this: Now your centre cap is ready to put onto the wheel (it sits a little proud but is flush against the face of the wheel, I'll get a better picture in the day): |
