Hi guys, just registered on site a just bought a Coupe. Wondering if anybody can help??? My car is a 1999 2l se with 41 on the clock. I am having a problem with it, starts first time, but kangaroo jumps as if there is no fuel getting through, once warmed up and stationary it is 'hunting' revs go from 800 to 1500 on its own!!!!

Any ideas anybody??

search is your best friend :lol

Welcome to the forums - check out the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) im pretty sure its that one that causes rough idle

Mine was caused by a polystyrene packing peanut left in the filter of the CAI when I had it "professionally fitted" and it was getting sucked to the MAF sensor and disrupting the air flow. I'm lucky they left one on the filter side and not on the throttle body side or it would have gone straight into one of the cylinders! :bang

Never going there again.
