If by some unexpected event my car does sell, how quick can i get my plate taken off my car? i obvioulsy aint got another car to put it on, so any ideas? i live right next door to the DVLA local office. only posting as i cant be bothered to dig out my certificate. |

You can get it done there and then if you go into the DVLA office with the relevant documentation. |

Don't have to have it on a car just put it on 'retention' |

just costs £25 a year i think it is to keep it on retention |
