So fuel is sold in Litres, right - but we work our distances in Miles, in the UK, anyways. So how the hell do we work out the MPG figure? Well, I found this calculator thingy and thought it'd be handy for those like me who cannot be bothered to work it out the hard way. I did mine after going 130 miles on £10 of diesel, about 9 litres - 65.5Mpg, not bad for a modified 2L diesel |

Post subject: | Re: Really Useful Fuel Consumption Calculator |
and i used to get about 34/35mpg out of the 2.0l so was abit of a shock when i got the v6, about 100miles less per tank but i wouldnt go back to the 2.0l its so much more fun in the v6 |

Post subject: | Re: Really Useful Fuel Consumption Calculator |
I've probably dropped 30 mile per tank on the 2l gen 1, which, let's face it aint too bad, particulaly since I'm still getting used to the car and it's been icy. |

Same one as Lidl then... Might have a nose around on there if you reckon the site is pukka... Androo - Turbodiesel is the future, mate. Look at those 3.0V6 twin-turbo models from Vauxhall etc. Same or greater torque as our modded V6, half the emissions (therefore lower tax) and similar hp. Shame they don't sound the same though, and a bigger shame Hyundai never thought to stick a sorted TDCi into the Coupe. |
