The results at this point are 50-50. Which I think is understandable. I voted for Unisured rather than Drink. Why? Well the stats to me point that people who are uninsured and unlicensed are often responsible for other criminal activities which can be more serious than drinking over the limit. There are extremes and D&D over the limit is never excusable - but this is often done by otherwise law abiding citizens.

Both drivers are uninsured.

The drunk has invalidated his as soon as he passed the drink/drive limit.

drink drivers definately should get a worse punishment.

where drink driving is entirely the drivers fault, not havin insurance might not be.

i would never drive knowing i have no insurance but have driven belivein i did have. i was insured with admiral, i called one day to ask about changing viechle on my policy. i was given an unreal quote of nearly 2500 for 10 months insurance. i told them it was a joke and i know i could get insured for less with a different company. i asked HOW i would go about canceling my insurance with them, and was told there would be a heavy charge if i did. so decided not to. 2 weeks went past and i found another car to buy, so phoned for a quote on the change and was told i wasnt insured, it was canceled and had been for 2 weeks... was also told i owe them a large amount of money for canceling. i have had bailifs threaten to come for money I DONT OWE. all because a company canciled my insurance without me asking.

as soon as i found out i took out a policy with another copany and have had no problems at all.

so its not always the drivers fault if the insurance isnt there. i know this is a rare case but im pretty sure its happened to others.

yeah both should be punished but some cases worse than others.

Hate to admit it, but I have done both in the past.

Drinking is by far the worst because you have absolutely no control of what is happening and are much more likely to kill somebody by crashing.

Driving uninsured/without a license is still wrong but at least you are in control.
