the miss is after her 1st car and for some god for saken reason LOVES the little ka.

anyone got any light worth shedding on this dark misrable topic, shes denied me the right to my dream, a 1.6 gen1/2 the bitc..... silly lady

i have to say this... i HATE them.
my brothers ex had one and at the time i wished shed said before getting one and id have told her not to, now im glad shes got one and can suffer, she even gouged the entire drivers side in an epic parking fail down our drive, that was HILARIOUS! buti digress.
they are TERRIBLY underpowered, similar engined cars in the same class perform much better, the gearbox on them are the first to go, they dont have doorcards just bare painted metal inside which is COOOOOLD in the winter. people go on about their responsive steering but thats only because theyre so light because theres nothing in them and theyre never going fast enough to skid out. trust me a polo is a MUCH better buy!
as well if i recall right the KA doesnt come with ABS even as an option on the old shape ones (pre-2008 if im not mistaken) which is just shameful. i just wouldnt feel safe driving one - or manly but thats besides the point.
if she wants a ford, get a fiesta, if she wants a decent car the same size in that class get a polo or even a lupo.

however if she likes whales might i suggest she get a black KA and get THIS bodykit

my ex LOVED whales and i said she should get it for a laugh, comes with all the body parts and viunyls shown on a black KA lol

looking like a polo/corsa or gen1 1.6

can anyone let me know if there a decent gen1 1.6 on the go for less than 1500 thanks all

I believe the main problem with the Ka is rust...

Other than that, it's probably all quite old Ford "tech" under the bonnet...

I'm an East Asian car buyer so anything West of Japan is generally considered a bit of a gamble in my opinion

Of course the "new" Ka is a Fiat 500 underneath - AKA Fiat Panda sexed up!
