right i was at work and saw a notice up from the poilce warning me of this so i thought i'd share

most typical place is petrol station,
you pay for it,
unlock your car,
turn it on,
look around to make sure its clear to go,
THEN you see a piece of paper on your back window,
you pop out to get it,
BOOM cars gone!!

so if you see something drive of and take it off at a later date.

plus think about it. you dont wanna sit on your phone or wallet so you put them in the centre bit, there gone too, they have your address from your driving licence and your house keys,

other works you are royaly F****D

seen this on crimewatch before, some people are not the brightest, now I check all my mirrors to make sure there is nothing to be aware of after I have locked the doors that is lol.

One more to the list of not to do 's I work at uni on maintenance you would be amazed how many offices I walk into door wide open or unlocked car keys left on desk no assuming all are our staff are sound the general public can just walk in to any building unchallenged by surcurity in the daytime pick your keys up into the car park press the remote look for the indicators to flash to identify the car and off they go. This should also be common sense not to do but its not the case and to you girls on hear I'me sorry but your the worst afenders complete with and waiting to be taken
