I know prices over the water are better than over here, and I know the car has been butchered, but honestly, for the amount of work required to do a proper job there's no way $700 dollars is anywhere near enough to cover it, so what was the dude expecting. If it was a mate doing it at mates rates then OK, but a commercial outfit out to make a profit? No way.
Someones already said it, you get what you pay for and I for one wouldn't expect that job at the price quoted.
Still feel sorry for the guy (and the Nissan)
