Ooh, that'd be good - Days was just down the road to me and now I have to go to Southend. In saying that, I actually prefer the Southend one, it's just further away.

I wonder if I could convince Hyundai that I own a garage (which I do, it's got the tumble drier in...) then I could get all my genuine parts at cost price

Southend hyundai have taken over the franchise and are based at Days

Yeah, I got a call from Hyundai the other day saying Southend are taking over the old Days site and will be having lots of opening week offers.

When I asked if they're going to be as crap as Days were, he kinda chuckled knowingly and said "no, sir, we won't be"

my car is at chelmsford now as to whether they are better than they used to be well hmmm ask me that tomorrow cos right now i am not terribly happy with them and am wishing i had gone to southend as normal

A tad confused here, I thought there was already a dealer in Chelmsford, I live on Cold Norton (for local people - next to SWF, work in SWF though) and I went to Chelmsford when I was looking at a Coupe.

Went in, saw a Coupe and started having a look inside and out, was totally taken aback by it originally, like a kid in a sweetshop I was! After no more than a minute a guy had come over, probably thinking I was just some chav just being nosey and a pain in the ass. I told him I was interested in one, and he seemed nice, but as soon as I told him it'd have to be 2nd hand, his attitude changed totally. Took my details in the end, said he'd call if he ever got anything, but don't think I ever got a call!

Later that day I went to Rayleigh/Basildon - can't remember which it was, again they were nice, but weren't interested when I said I was after a 2nd hand model, wasn't even willing to let me sit in a 2nd hand gen3 cause I was after an SIII.

Then went to Southend and the guy was really nice, gave him the spiel, after a 2nd hand etc etc and he said to me that I could sit in the car, play around, try a few buttons etc and I had great fun, as I never got to try much at Chelmsford or Rayleigh/Basildon!

Ok, is it a Gen 3 of Gen 3.5, if I see you again, expect a few frantic flashes, either that or expect me to have my washers on - still getting used to the different controls from my old car!
