I have a 4 week old daughter and also a SIII. I have a Graco travel system, Oasis model in which any of the car seats will fit a Hyundai Coupe.

If you have a passenger side airbag, you can go to your dealer and ask them to deactivate it - they will probably ask you to sign a release form so that if you have a crash and an adult passenger is harmed it's your fault, not theirs.

Stage 0 car seats do tend to be quite long front-back, there is one that goes side to side on the rear seats (see here: http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/child-car-seat/ ... t/reviews/). If it's only 1 child you ned to carry, this looks like a good idea.

Baby seats are rear facing and are a MAJOR pain to fit even when you have a back door, so whatever you get, make sure you get one with a base that stays permanently in the car that the seat just clicks into.

For older kids, I can get the Maxicosi Priori in my Gen 1 with no problems.

When I got my Coupe, the dealer had reccomended child seats as an extra option. I already had one that fitted, so passed on it. Try your local Hyundai dealer, he may be able to help.
