Here is the guide for it as well in case anyone needs it:
Tools needed:
Phillips screwdriver
Flat screwdriver (or other prying tool)
10mm socket & wrench
6" extension bar for socket (recommended)
I would recommend disconnecting the battery so you don't have power going to the speakers and door lights.
Remove the tweeter speaker--notice there are 3 tabs holding it in, it should come off by just pulling on it starting at the top. Then disconnect the connector and set it aside:
Next, remove the door grab. There is a little notch where you can insert a screwdriver or other tool. Basically just pull up on it. On the left you can see the little tabs that hold it in place. Then remove the 2 screws behind it (circle and arrow). The top circle is one of the screws that holds the handle trim in place (you can't see it until the grab is removed).
Now remove the 2 screws that hold the handle trim in place. Then remove the trim piece by sliding it off the handle to the left:
Next remove these 2 screws (left circles):
And these 3 on the edge of the door trim:
If your screws have caps on them (some of mine did) use a small prying tool (I used a pocket knife) to get the caps off:
Once all screws are removed, pull on the black trim piece at the bottom. I started at the speaker and moved towards the outside. Once it's loose, pull up on it (the top edge is tucked in by the window) then pull it slowly away from the door frame. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2 on the passenger side, 4 on the driver's side) and set the trim panel aside. You'll now see this:
Start peeling the plastic from the upper right corner (behind where the door handle is). Be careful because it rips easily. It might be tucked under a screw, and you can either yank it out or loosen the screw and pull it out.
You'll start to see some bolts that you might think are holding the door handle, but they aren't so don't mess with them:
Keep pulling away the plastic until you can see the opening. The door handle is up inside (large arrow). Looking through the 2 holes you can see the bolts you'll need to remove:
Here's a shot looking up into that open area at the handle. You can see one bolt, but the other is up to the left:
You can get to the upper left bolt with a socket extension through the left hole circled above. For the other bolt I had to put my socket wrench up into the space and get it directly. Look at your new handles to see exactly where the 2 bolts are:
UPDATE: Right under the orange trim bracket above there's a black cover piece (to the right of the 2 holes noted). Reach around the back and pop it out--this will give you a straight shot at the second bolt without having to mess with getting a wrench up inside there.
Once both bolts are out, you'll want to loosen the lock cylinder. Turn it to the left a little and pull it away from the door handle. Then disconnect the plastic clip and remove the rod that controls the door mechanism. Just push it out to the right.
Now you should be able to remove the old door handle, lock side first. Just push from behind and it shouldn't be too hard.
Put the new handle in place, re-connect the control rod, and secure the plastic clip. Put the lock cylinder in place and turn it to the right to line the hole up with the hole in the handle assembly. Make sure the lock cylinder is all the way flush with the handle. Put your 2 10mm bolts back in the new handle and make sure the control rod works. Test the lock cylinder with your key to make sure the door lock works from the outside.
Reverse all the removal steps, which will be easy once you see how everything goes together. Remember to re-connect all the electrical connectors.
