VMware fusion windows emulator did not work well with the L4D demo, so I ditched it.
I refuse to go the bootcamp route as it just makes a joke of buying an iMac in the first place
...

I'm installing a Windows emulator (boo-hiss) on my lovely new mac, for the main purpose of playing games. I was thinking COD4, but I believe L4D is very good? |

Apparently there is a downloadable demo for L4D to might get that later and try it in the emulator. |

Got l4d on my PC, very addictive shoot em up! You will need a good GFX card to appreciate the gore though. |

its very good zoe If your mac is a intel powerone then look into bootcamp loader as it allows you to run a proper copy of windows on an intel mac that you could set aside for gaming |

im an on/off pc gamer. used to play battelfield2 competativly and cod4 also. have to admit i love jumping in to a game of L4D it is very addictive. i think as far as windows goes, you ether get it running spot on and then never have a problem for the life of the pc or you install it and are forever recovering it.... seems to be luck of the draw. ive never had any probs with xp or vista ultimate. been very good for me. |
