Re: the amiga games - yes i've downloaded the Amiga Forever emulator pack and playing all my old favourites i.e when games were just good and didn't rely on great GFX

aaahhh xorro, doom wasn't in 3D, it was a 2d shooter (you couldn't map over a currently mapped location, and each item was only drawn in 2D..sorry i'm sad, i know!)

quake was the first 3d game...

Am i right in thinking Arkanoid was a space shooter on birds eye view and you choose 1 of 2 pilots (1 being called Maverick) and you started with your ship on level 2 and could upgrade it to a level 6 monster that could shoot all over the screen ??? If thats the one i am thinking of it was very good and very addictive.... Commodore Amiga i think i had it on.

Ahhh Arkanoid now i remember....no idea what i was thining about then....

I had a DC for about a year also....Waste of money. Soul Caliber was good though.

Ah yeah, the dreamcast was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Think I sold mine for a tenner. Would have got more satisfaction blowing the f****n thing up.

yeah i had that game, was absolute brilliance for the time.

you could go into the games arcade and place things like space harrier and stuff like that

was supposed to have been three releases to it, but only ever saw the first one....
