Thanks mate. It was around the 50-60 quid mark from Sharkracing, it's a good mod & you can feel the difference it makes to your electrical system. VERY easy to install. I notice this thread has came up twice on forum bord, don't know how that happened

you can make your own grounding kit for a fraction of that price. '0' guage cable and 1 or 2 packs of connectors and some shrink wrap/electrical tape, what ever you prefer. if you find my photo thread in the photo section you can see mine

Very nice mate your car is looking more amazing by the day! I dread to think what you have spent on it so far. Does this improve the cars response times and make it a bit faster? or is it just for the sound system etc?

That looks pretty fine - as asked above, have you noticed any difference with the drive? Some say they improve idling and make lights (headlights specif.) brighter...

Might do a roll-me-own on the SDi, that kit looks good but I'm a cheap bugga with sod-all money

Sort of like a better, fatter spark during the ignition cycle then? Same as fitting fat plugleads and performance plugs...

Wouldn't make a performance difference on my Diesel, mate - no spark, obv. but if it makes the damned headlights brighter then it can only be good.

good grounding is the single most important part of any electrical system to get the most out of it effeciently. i noticed smoother idling, more instant starting(less cranking time) even in damned cold we've had, haven't noticed any performance improvement or brighter headlights though.

Performance gains would be minimal, too small to notice. Still a great mod though & even better if you've changed everything else. One thing i've noticed is i can turn my head unit up louder without distortion. I'm not really into the amp thing & i run a standard hyundai issue head unit. When i played a CD i could turn the vol to 18-20 max (depending on CD) without distortion, now with the volt stabiliser & grounding kit i can turn it up 23 no probs. Car starts nice & crisp too
