Well I'm getting fed up now!!
Last used the coupe on Sunday 20th December, when it took me four attempts to get back onto the 'Close' I live on, due to snow & ice....I decided to leave the car on the drive and used my wife's car....or my legs, over the xmas period!
The SIII is simply hopeless in these conditions, whilst the 206 I've been using has been an absolute breeze!

Anyway, just as I thought I'd be back on the road & back to work, the snow & ice returns with avengence!!
Not one of my neighbours has got off the estate today...it's actually just over 8 inches deep in the back garden...not seen that in over 20 years!

Same here. It snowed pretty heavily about 10 miles east and west of here. We only got a light dusting yesterday

still no snow here. thought my car was frozen shut the other day. tried pourin warm water round da seals, the frame, even on the door handle and look...still couldnt get into the car....pulling on the door handle i was like wat the f.......

handy if i actually unlocked the car, be4 trying to get in!

I know how you feel Stopher, cant even get my Siii off the drive now, been using the Mrs puma which copes with the fluffy stuff alot better the coupe

every1's other car makes a better snow car,i wonder wat makes the coupe so bad?

Our snow hasnt been very deep, four inch at the most but I have found the coupe to be fine and have passed other people who have got stuck.

So far I've had no problems with the coupe in the snow, no hilly driveways for me .

now parking on the flat around the corner buy other than that had no probs either exept the handbrake is frozen off lol oh yeah and the abs light stayed on for a little while yesterday but it was minus 14 down here for a while

ive not had any problems in the snow and ice in the coupe its soooooo much better handling it than the last two cars i had where i nearly died many occasions
in my dads bmw the other day and good god it was all over the place, coupe handles it much better

I have found the Coupe to be a bit scary in the snow and ice too. Not as bad as a mate's Z4 (rear wheel drive) but I've had it stuck twice on our hill unable to shift it. And over xmas I followed my Dad's Kia up a snowy hill and where he could go fine, the coupe wasn't happy at all! I told him it was down to the extra power!!!

Ah I miss the northern snow! I went home over Christmas and at its peak in Wigan we got about 10-12 inches at one point. I'm never home enough.
Quick question... how do you pronounce where you're from?
Beh-reee (as in to bury something in the ground) or Buh-ree?(as in said really slow and northern, like I'm used to lol).

ive only just come across this post, my coupe was awesome in the snow, i had to dig it clear afew time when it was parked over night but thats all. the other problem was me parking it in deep snow and it sinking into it. personally if anyway came into trouble driving there coupe in snow its down to lack of driving skill in the snow, not thinking lodgically. i embrassed alot people in the snow climbing hills slow and steady while there tried to floor it all the way up then started sliding back down. stopher you had 8inches in you back garden, i had 2 feet, i was sinking in over my knees walking to the car took me an hour an half to dig it clear to the road.

Hmmm, is there really a car under all that Snow!! Lol.

I get a chuckle from this......snow.....what snow......where i grew up that was the norm for a day, we would get snow that would bring everyone here to a standstill...... not taking the mick or anything just really funny how 6 inches of snow makes you not able to drive..... the last winter i was in canada i went to work at 4pm with 6 inches of snow on the ground, i worked all night driving an hgv fuel tanker in a snow storm and when i got home the next morning at 9:30am the snow was above my knees...... now thats snowand we worked and drove in it all night as we drive in it all winter....... like i said not taking the mick but is understandable when your not used to it but it was a little fluff flurry to me........ hope you finally got your car out mate........ cheers all..
