Yes i know my car is filthy, not a lot i can do living in a rural welsh area where cleaning just means its dirty again in 10 minutes

These disks are from ebay seller mtec100 and the Mintex pads are from ebay seller ziggy-a2z, i highly recommend both.

I have the same ones on my car. Can't fault them really. Theres a few thousand miles on them now and they're still perfect.

I'd also highly recommend the seller mtec100

Yeh but if you or any previous owners have never changed the disks on the car (like mine) you should expect most of your time to be spent smacking the hell out of the old disks with a hammer for 3 hours then eventually giving in and cutting them off (like i had to on the fronts). Not a fun thing to do, the amount of rust on the floor afterwards was shocking.

Yeh there's two on each disk on the fronts, just 1 on the back. I had to drill out the screws as they weren't budging at all, i mangled the heads on all of them too. The screws were far too soft.

Angelus, do yuo find that if when you brake from say 70 to 30, fairly hard but not hard if you know wwhat i mean you get a whhuuuuuuuuuuur from the brakes going down in pitch as they slow down?

Ive got drilled & grooved ones front n back on mine with redstuff and get that funny noise - wondered if it was because of the disks

yes but its very very low and barely noticeable from within the car. Its probably the grooves doing their job taking off layers off the pad.

yyyyyyep - oh with me its quite loud, guess thats because the pads are low.... meh i dunno need to whip em out for the twin pots anyhow soonish
