got bit fed up with my standard alloys on my gen 3.5 so cos i work in a bodyshop and its my job, i decided to jazz them up a bit and proper without costing me a penny


i painted them black met with a red rim

i took quite a few pics from start to finish so opinions welcome

wouldnt do it to my car but i like em!very different! do the calipers red and get black edcals and it will look mega!

I think they look well hot when on the car mate !!!!

i thought i wanted black wheels until i saw the grey ones i now own but they do look rather special. the biggest problem with the black, imo, is that you cant really make out the design of what is the best rim hyundai have ever come up with. check mine out in my garage, see what you think.....just to reiterate though, they are a vast improvement over standard colour, and lovin the red rim.

that was exactly what i was gona do with my red gen 3, get a set of 3.5/v6 wheels and do the black red rim. i got a set of the light weight v6 upgrade wheels tho, and the rim is to thick to go all red on it, so when with ford lavente grey and polished the rim with a wire drill head.
