Well I've been registered on this site for a wee while now and can finally post some pics of the car I bought at the weekend.

This is the second Hyundai I've owned - my first one was an 86 Pony 1.5GLS back in the early 90's when I was a poor student.

So here's my new car using the sellers pics for now:









Of course there is often a negative and here it is..

Cheers for all the replies - had some prices for wings - some used ones are more than a new Hyundai genuine part

Explained this to the scrappy and he wasn't willing to deal so somebody else gets the business - he was twice the price of the other two suppliers anyway

Looks a nice clean car other than that damage mate. As Macker says, it might even be worth have a go at fixing it yourself, you only have a few pounds and a day of your time to lose (although if your body repairs are anything like my attempts in the past, I would just take it straight to a bodyshop! )

It looks like I can get a wing for 50 quid shipped so that would be the smart money really

Of course I can always have a go at repairing the original wing once I replace it and see how it turns out

I had a go years back doing a bit of filling and painting on the aforementioned Pony, it all looked pretty good until I actually applied the paint...
