At the moment, apart from the header, there are no go faster mods because I want it to be a show car and if it goes past too quick you can't see how cool it looks. However, I used to work for Hyundai and was involved in the very first F2 (the one you never got to see because the Koreans wouldn't warranty all the mods we made) I do have some tricks up my sleeve if the need arises.

The concept for the car came from the rally car we had at the time, which I'm sure most of you on here know already. We got hold of a basic 2.0 Gen 1 with cloth seats etc and slapped a set of BBS alloys on it (it was red if I remember correctly). The engine mods were ptetty much what alot of you guys get up to now - induction, exhaust, blueprinting, fuel pressure, hot cams and electronic skullduggery. But when we ran in past the Koreans they told us that unless the extras were sourced from the Hyundai parts bin they wouldn't be able to warranty the car (type approval/homologation). So the hunt was on and the only thing we could come up with was the cams from a 1.8 Beta engine had a better profile than the 2.0 Beta versions and gave better duration. This stunning mod gave us a whole 14BHP extra over the standard car. Hyundai capitulated a bit on F2 EVO because the cosmetic parts were sourced from UK type approved manufacturers (still couldn't do any more to the engine though)
