Right then folks,

Please put your favorite pictures of your car in here.

We are having a maximum of 4 pics per post and you're not allowed to make another post until someone else has, also they should be no bigger than 800x600.

The best way to do this is put your pictures on a image hosting site like Photobucket

NEW UPDATE - If its ok by everyone and you ar not on a image hosting site I will copy the pictures and edit your post so they are full size

If anyone wants to comment about them I shall start another thread for them here

http://forums.hyundaicoupe.info/viewtopic.php?t=18527

Any comments will be removed.

Muan has come up with some great tips

muan wrote:
1) I nearly always find that getting low to take a shot makes the car look much more aggressive. I tend to try and shoot from about the same height as the top of the wheel.

2) Check the background. A tree/telegraph pole, etc, 'growing' out of the boot can easily ruin a nice picture.

3) Check that you have the whole car 'in the frame'. Even something daft such as an aerial 'chopped' off half way can make a picture look odd.

4) I normally prefer having the front wheels turned slightly.

5) A general rule of photography is to always leave a little space in the direction that the picture is going. Simply put, if the boot of the car is on the right of the picture, leave a little empty space on the left hand side. Sounds daft, but it usually works better. It's all to do with the way the human brain works apparently!

6) I am passionate about skies and to the annoyance of everyone around me will often wait until there is something happening be it clouds, a sunset or whatever before taking a picture. I simply won't use a picture with a plain white sky. This is probably just me being 'anal' though!

As I said above, these are just some of the ways that I shoot my images. There's never a totally right or wrong way to do anything when it comes to photography though! :lol

LETS SEE THOSE LOVELY COUPES

(Edited the rules slightly)

Ok, I'll get the ball rolling!.

Image
This was taken on the causeway to Shell Island in North Wales just after I bought the car.

Image
This was outside a small rural church at Waterfall off the Leek to Ashbourne Road.

Image
This plane is just inside the gate at RAF Cosford. Grabbed this on the way out after the meet on Sunday. Actually cheated with the sky on this one as I really liked the picture but there was simply nothing there in the original so I added one from another picture that I took a few days before!

Image
This was a long exposure shot taken at night (about 20 seconds I think) to capture the blurred light trails and road surface to give the illusion of speed. The demon figure was taken from an old wallpaper I had and added in Photoshop. Just thought it looked 'cool'! :lol

Just arrived back from a walk at the windfarm behind...view taken near to 'Scout Moor' windfarm (one of the largest inshore windfarms in England)....only 4 miles from my house!
It's actually 5 bracketed shots....hence the 'multi-turbine blades'! :lol

Something a little different! Edited in Photoshop to make the bonnet transparent and then processed in the 'Dragan' style to produce the grungy effect.

This was taken outside the bodyshop that sprayed the bumper.

I'd only fit the bumper about 30seconds before the pic was taken

The rest are at a show last summer

Heres our contribution - taken on the last great road trip of the Red Bullitt, Xmas in Scotland '08. It's gone to the great scrapyard in the sky now, but the memories live on...

These were taken at Loch Earn in Perthshire...

Dont really have too many pictures of my car yet, partly because of the weather hasn't allowed it, but i;ll get some up later.
Although the other day i took this picture on my phone, its such a simple effect but i love the look it gives.
