I had another set of Angel Eyes arrive yesterday - the first of three to try on my main beam bezel.

My impatience got the better of me and as these were obvioulsy going to fit I decided to go ahead!

I do prefer the look now - in terms of matching colour, these, to my eye are slightly off but I`m colour blind so who knows?

Oddly, as these are white rings, and the smaller ones are black, I think my car now looks like its wearing NHS specs with bottle lenses from certain angles.

A touch of comedy at least I guess!

These rings were £10 from ebay and the guy sell all sizes - I`ll dig out a link at some point.

A fulll set for £20 is better than paying £60 though isnt it?

The quality is much better than the Shark rings I had before too! A much more sturdy PCB.

On the the next mod....

still prefer the sharkie ones, but they look good all the same mate, especially for that price, mine cost me £85 in the end

Yes I would prefer to be able to use a thinner ring but these as well as the other two sets all have that border which I guess you need for a good 100mm fit at the back.

I reckon I`ll just leave em on 24/7 - no difference at all then as the LEDS obscure the colour of the back. Hmm, not sure how much of a knob I`ll look driving around like that in the day though

I read somewhere that its an MOT fail without the sidelight bulb?

I was thinking of getting a LED one to mathc the colour.

no mate, the angel eyes are good enough, I checked this at the MOT garage where I get my car done before I ordered mine, completely legal

Wouldn't you have been as well ordering the 80mm set off the same guy so that they both matched?

These hard to fit? for a mechanical numpty?
do you have to cut the headlight to put them on?

is there a quick how2 anywhere?
