Well i was getting fed up of seeing the ugly cast iron manifold while waiting for the junbl heatshield group buy to get sorted, so i thought id give it a coat of aluminium high temp paint! Spent a good hour cleaning it up with the old wire brush and some wet dry, brushed it all down with a dry cloth and got spraying! Also did the throttle body and fitted a cold air feed while i was at it

Looking real tidy there ash, giving the engine bay a nice look is definitely on my cosmetic mods list. What tape/hoses did you use?

Can you show me a picture of the cold air feed lower down in the engine bay. I wanna see how youve located it.

Kalsius- ive just used blue insulation tape for the piping! cost me under a quid to do the lot!

Breezer- ill get more pics up tonight mate! Ive routed it by the side of the fan but keep in mind that my bumper has a big mouth with just mesh so what ive done may not work so well with the standard bumper! Although i do have pics of my old feed which is as androooo says so ill pm those to you! I got the feed from focus it was £13 for 2metres!

The pics seem to make this look abit restricted but the amount of air flow im getting is ridiculous! Yeah im sad enough to of used a big fan from work to check
