Handles and vent :thumbup

In fact as I was scrolling down I saw your first pic and thought "It needs the gills doing aswell" and low and behold further down others had thought the same thing - go for it.

and possibly the petrol cap, or petrol cap ring too.

or even invert the paint job on the handles... ie have the handle stay red still but the backing black.

Yea the petrol ring has already been done, handles and vents nice man!

Thought about black pinstripe down the 2 lines aswell? that could work well in this case...

And paul! Your not a fan, and qoute "imo body coloured door handles came in for good reason" is that why you changed yours! :b :lol

Try tinting the indicator black too mate as well as the door handle and if you do the fins Or fit the 3.5 one's which are slightly different, then paint the 2 strips on the vent like so:

Sorry about the crappy quality but you get the general idea

Sorry to bring this post back to life again... but im gonna go for the handle paint job in the 1st pics aswell as the gen 3.5 gill paint job that ninos cleverly designed... (Gill's are in the post)

My Question is about the Handles...

Will a garage need to remove the handles to paint these or can it be done with them still on the car? If so i wouldnt mind giving it a go myself...

Any help is much appreciated!

I think anybody doing a decent job would remove them from the car dont think its to much bother but if you petrol cap ring is off another coup ebony black why not keep a look out on ebay and breakers FOR A SET I have a red gen 3.5 and had the roof sprayed mertalic black the same colour as the S111I then purchased a petrol cap off a scrapped S111 which is the same fitment as mine and just put the outer ring on same as you have I also was going to buy the mirrors from the breaker at the same time as they are the same fitment as well which I thought would tie it all in nicely but he wanted £100 which I thought was a little heavy going back to yours if the cap is standard colour why not remove you handles have a go yourself if you mess up then take just the handles to the bodyshop and get them painted

Don't know for sure but I would be amazed if it didn't as there is a thin rubber gasket around it
