A couple of Pics of My Gen 3.5 V6

First few Pics of the Coupe back home, parked next to my old Clio.

I am not planning any major modifications, love the car as it is, I want to do the Hyundai/Tuscani badge swap, change the CD player and replace the stupidly long ariel.

I'll post some decent pics once I have taken them!!

Hi Glyn reference aerial I had the same trouble as you thread wise, dont know how handy you are I took my long twangy lump of sh-t off cut it about 25mm up from the thread then tapped a 5mm thread on the other end, so exsisting thread oviously goes in the car and your newly tapped thread into your new aerial job done. I have been running with the cheapy bee sting for quite a while reception is no where as good as the stock one but I have just changed to a rubber one for a Honda type R / S2000 and it is a lot better, if you go down this road I got mine off Ebay there are a few people on their selling them if you bide your time and dont get carried away on bidding you should get one reasonable I got mine for 8 pound result. Which ever one you buy get the aerial first to make sure you tap the right thread because as you say they do vary 5 and 6mm being the most common

if you can, try getting a helicoil(i believe its called). this can reduce your thread to 5 or 6 from 7mm

Does anyone have one of the Richbrook Sabre aerial's fitted to their car.

I note they come with a 7mm thread.

I treated myself to the racing ark one from PC and it has been good. I've not had any problems with the reception. The only thing I have found is that it marks the metal bolt on the Coupe when you tighten it. Has anyone else found this?

got the Ark Racing one from PC. miles better and now i dont take my eyes out when i was the car!!! never had trouble with it and it didnt mark the metal bolt Rambo (nice 1.6 too!!!)
