I have put LED's in the door pocket, Door handle recess and speaker grill.

Finaly done my dials and dash switches.

Heater controls are now done. Also put some LEDs in the clock which gives it a nice glow. (looks alot better than the pics show)

My LED project is now 98% complete i have added LEDs in the airvents now Pictures don't do it justice camera is really crap

I have now put some more in my boot. Tho from the pictures you can't really tell. The camera just does'nt pick it up.


As you can see below i have put them in the back boot trim piece.









I think this Project has now come to an end. Mainly because i now have run out of LED's But also running out of places to put them.

I know the picture is not very good at all. Am going to get some better ones, but basicly the pic above is of my car door with the window switches changed to red and on the bottom of the door i have placed 6 LED's so when i open the door it lights up the floor.

Nice idea with the under door led's.. thinking now..

I have added another picture of my heater dials and clocks. The red is a very deep red by the way. Its just the camera that makes it look a pale red.

Yeah looks really good at night. Its dead easy to do as long as you have a basic knowledge on electronics and DIY skills.

Memory like an elephant hey rik, Im still going to do it at some point but this moment in time its a no go.

Yeah as lidl said sand them down flat so it 'spreads' the light more. The ones i bought was already the 'wide' angle variety. I used 6-7 in each door iirc.

Here's the to the shop i got mine from. The only trouble with them tho is they dont come pre-wired so you have to solder everything on first. But this is perfect for doing the switches etc.

The speedo dials etc use direct Plug 'n' Play bulbs (4x 501 2x 286) again get wide angle ones otherwise you will end up with spots of light on the dials. The heater controls also use 2x 286 but found that they dont light it up enough. So i stripped the heater controls down and put leds direct under the control dial's etc. They is a DIY over on UKHCC on how to do this.

Yeah i only put the fosters to try and show the light more. Cos if they isnt anything for the light to reflect off the camera wouldnt pick the light up.

Cheers guys its been alot of work but im really pleased with the outcome. Im after buying a sound sensitive module and hook it up to the dash lights so it flashes with the music etc.
