As TDM mentioned on another thread just recently we seem to have an influx of new members at the moment and I can't help noticing that more than one of 'em has asked for practical help with posting piccies and setting up signature text, avatars and banners etc.

I know DDR, Scout and even me have written a number of helpful replies covering these topics in the past but they've been in reply to questions raised by random individuals on various threads which makes the information difficult to find the next time the same question is asked. So it would be cool if the info could be amassed in one place namely this "How do I do that?" thread and if our Mods could make the thread sticky n'all that would be even better.

So off ya go guys and gals, get busy digging out relevant info and reposting it here. Go on....you know you wanna.

certainly no harm in a "1st stop for newbies" stickied thread with info regarding web image storage for use with avatars, sigs, etc.

plus possibly some help with how to use bbcode (if needed) for bold [/i]italic[/i] etc. text.
