Welcome to the new ukHCS forums!

Because the Gold Community on the current/old site is due to expire we will be subjected to pop-up ads. Over the years the cost of renewing Gold COmmunity has become a little excessive, which has led to the creation of the new forums!

These forums are built on phpBB2 are much more configurable. As a user you can create a profile, have a signature and display an avatar. The private message function is much friendlier and you are able to email other board members.

As the forum owner/admin I have more flexibility with the configuration of the site, including user management, forum styles, colour and layout. Plus, specific 'Annoucement' and 'Sticky' topics.

Please post any suggestions in the Forum Annoucement section.

Users will be required to register to allow them to post, you can edit and delete your own posts.

At the bottom of the main page is a box showing the total members online and the most recently registered user.

The board is still being configured so don't worry if it changes colour or layout a few times a day!

Very nice......very nice indeed!

This is fun, trying to generate avaters and signatures etc. Hope they work!

Good luck all with the new forum everybody!!!

Question:

What is the fate of the old forum? Will it just disappear? That would be a shame.

The move to a new site is nice, as we all get to move to our new home together, like one big family :)

Well done on a really nice looking site! Thought my computer was playing tricks on me when I logged onto the forum earlier today and found the new design - (either that, or I was still hung-over from the cointreau consumed last night). Wasn't sure about the black background at first, but it's certainly growing on me now :)

Liking the new forums Zoe, always preferred phpBB to ezBoard. Just don't change the theme (or if you do, leave the other one as an option for us to pick ourselves)

Love the new site. when I view at home, its crystal clear, lovely black and blue, but at work, its very hard to see, very little contrast. Maybe that explains how some people dont see it very well?

Hi Panther, there is an 'events and meetings' section, post in there.

We don't have regional forums.
