if i had the time id consider taking on some de-ambering as a sideline, but with what your saying i really wouldnt want to have to mess around sorting bits out all the time.

I felt the need to add my two pennyworth to this post as I've been a member of the forum and club for some time and one of the most important features is the fact that we are all family, bit like the Boswells of old TV fame which Albert will remember. I couldn't discuss matters with strangers as I do on here and that's because we have a common love of all things coupe.
I'm shocked that a member of my family, because everyone on here is my family as we are yours, could behave in such a fashion as to cause any upset of any kind to the most pleasant, helpful and honest person I've known, even though I don't actually know Albert and I haven't met him, but I've read so much advice from him and seen so many posts about his exploits with other peoples lights etc. that I feel I know him like an old friend. How many people have this effect on you in your lifetime? Not many I'm sure. So to make him uncomfortable about the good deeds he performs so frequently is a serious matter for all of us.
Sad to say that all families have black sheep, but there's ways of dealing with black sheep and mint sauce comes to mind.
Don't give up on us Albert. Make sure you take steps to safeguard your finances by asking for deposits etc. because those of us who are honest understand the need for you to cover yourself against the miscreants who would cheat or otherwise cause you a financial loss. I feel I speak for most of the honest community when I say that I for one would not feel as if you didn't trust me by asking for a deposit before you did me a favour, It's something I think any person doing what you do needs to introduce for self preservation, and to ensure that nothing occurs, such as at present, to deter you from helping us with our problems in the future. We need you.

Thats utter disrespect for for somebody offering such a great service at a very reasonable cost.

I de-ambered my own headlights, but I couldn't have done it without Alberts advice.
If I didn't think I was competent enough to do it myself I'm sure I would have had Albert do mine too. Theres plenty of members on here who can vouch for his work. I've seen pictures of lots of headlights he's done and from what I've heard the pictures don't do his work justice whatsoever.

Deposit, increased price, sending the person a spare set and de-ambering the lights they send, whatever.
I know I would have no problem with any of these options as I would begetting top-class, exceptional work done.

Its just a shame that theres always a small minority who take the p*ss!!!
