plus, from making themes for website forums, i know that the more fancy it looks the longer it takes to load.

yes, it's not as flash as some sites, but at least it still works when my/ppl's net connections become piss-poor speeds (typically weekends for me - bloody ntl/virgin).

TBH, setting up another theme would be a total PITA! I would have to re-apply all the custom mods to the new theme and I'm not sure I can remember them all!
