you must be mad your willing to spend Â£4500 on a car knowing its going to get f**ked over. Get a Gen1 they go for less than Â£1000 these days. That way it wont matter when it gets scratched, shot at.

I dont want another old car - they inevitably want work doing to them all the time & I cant be arsed with that hassle again. Been through it twice already.

instead of getting a new car mate, get a camara, survalance the 'suspected area' and find a way or means to aim justice at the guilty party. I know areas of sheff are rough (only from rotherham) but its guna go one way or another, they will torch the car as an act of revenge as they have no meaning or purpose in life but to f-ck with the ones with the capabilities to better them selves. or they might take the hint and leave you alone and move on to the next poor person

i know this was said above mate, but i thought worth mentioning again -

Gen 1 or 2 coupe.

there are so many around for sub 2k that have under 60k on the clock its amazing, and to be honest theres not alot to go wrong..... id seriously considor it

most of gen 1-2 parts are the same or were used to develop the gen 3/3.5 s111 parts. there solid cars and just as reliable as the newer coupe's.

anyway how about this. if you can get Â£4500 together why not use the money to move to a better area.

sorry ot hear bout ur troubles mate. i can only imagine wat ur going thru, it must be a nightmare esp when u have a coupe!u consider a diesel astra?the new shape ones?my dad has the SXi and its quiet nice!(no cup holder tho!really like in 2009 and no cupholder!)
