Ok guys i need some help here my daughter has a corsa 1.2 merit 96/97 its developed an acceleration problem it hesitates all the time and kangeroos sometimes making it all most imposible to drive. iv taken the piping off frome the airfilter to the intake manifold i first thought it had a carb but it looks like a single point injection system with the car running i can see petrol being sprayed from this injector but i think it might be overfueling as i can see petrol running over the throttle butterfly when i open it up abit it still looks like its overfueling to me. But this throttle body has what looks like a TPS on it so i am all so wondering if it could be this aswell anyone know anything about these cars :confused

Doc if its corsa c! jump in the drivers seat! press down break and accelerator! Turn ignition on (dont fire it up) Now keep your eye on the service light! It will flash! 1 flash = 1, 2 flash = 2 and so on 10 flashes = 0. count the flashes until you have a 4 digit code! then look it up on google or ring the dealer with fault code!

Hope this helps!

hmmm look up the paper clip test on corsa b mate! you basically use a paper clip to short 2 fuses and it makes the service light read out your fault code!
