Those who know myself and Vik of old will remember that in Nov '07 we emigrated to Australia. It all went pear-shaped about 2 months later and we had to return to England.

The realisation that it had all failed was the worst day of our lives, to date...

The second was today, when I had to break The Red Bullitt. Much more that just a car to us, it had come to represent many happy times - the trip to France last year, Xmas in Scotland, hacking 'round Wales, far too many Meets to mention - hell, even a trip up the supermarket was fun.

I've done away with many cars before, but this is the only one we've actually cried over. It's demise represents the end of era for us, the happy times of driving a car that folks can't help staring at, and a time when we thought we'd have it all.

I would say it's all downhill from here, but thats not my style. In a perverse way, I guess this represents a new beginning for us - folks on here know about the crappy luck we've had over the last year or so, plans are being made for this year that will pave the way to a better life.

Just without our first proper sportscar - a Rover TDi, however well-modded, just will not be the same.

Aaron - I'll do the odd Dyno day. The Rover TDi won't compete WHP-wise, but I reckon I'll whup yo' ass on the Torque figures

Gutted for you fella! The Bullet truly is a legend in my eyes! Anyhow as you said matey now for bigger and better things and i wish you pair and of course our bonnie all the luck in the world following the dream!
