Hi there!

I'm a newbie down here so I'd like to introduce my car lot :-)

In 2004 I got Hyundai Scoupe:

Then in 2007 I've bought my beauty, here in the photo together with our (girlfriend's last years' christmas present from me) hyundai lantra (these winter rims are terrible) :-)

And here in the picture together with my ex-Hyundai Scoupe which I had for a year - last year. (Yes! I've had two of them!)

thank you for your kind welcome, I've looked over your profiles and I must say that there are a lot of nice coupes 'round the british islands

I've been there few years ago, just for a week, but I haven't seen any coupe.

Btw. when is your next coupe meeting? Are there any members from abroad when you have a rally? :mrgreen:

you're right, lantra has got a lot of similar parts, and there aren't much differences between the two.

Lantra, 'cause it's only a 1.6litre, has gotta much softer suspension, while the coupe is better in the corners. Our lantra also has no ABS brakes, so there are only drums at the rear axle, so the brakes aren't as good as the one in coupe, but it's adequate I think :-) Also the problems are the same, the clutch, exhaust manifold - both replaced on coupe, huh no let's replace it on lantra :cool:

/note: I'm not sure about the preposition "on coupe" - is it correct?

I have organised some hyundai meetings in CZ a few years ago, so may be.. :mrgreen:

Actually, I don't have enough time to fix some naughty problems scourging our lantra (like squeaking belt or blowing exhaust mani) so I hope that someone else would do the job :cool:
