i guess youre right there. I found it funny when they offered to compare to other insurers and brokers on the internet they claimed that I would find they were very competitive with their prices, yet they were the most expensive quote on there.

I remember when I was first looking for insurance after having a company car for years I went to that place that want to 'quote you happy', they were the most expensive and when I pointed it out to them they basically said 'you'd better go with the others then because we can't go any cheaper'

also i get cheaper quotes on a vw passat w8 (TWO 40v 4.0 v8's bolted together - 0-60 in 6s, top speed limited to 155, quite held back at 275bhp with masses of torque, and staggering potential for someone tuning minded - only 300 ever in the uk, but a decent one 2002 with 60k on the clock will cost £5k) which is a group 18 comes back at the same price as my group 14 V6, and a group 16 x-type 3.0 sport comes back over double!

the way they work out insurance is beyond me
