After years of waiting, finally got a sensible quote to insure a car.

4 years NCD
5 years driving
1 accident in march 2005
1 speeding fine jan 08
1.6 gen 3
fully comp w/legal cover, no courtesy car no breakdown(got both those covered) 350 excess
everything declared

£396.42

with swift cover, heard there customer service is crap but hopefully never have to use it

Everything declared??? :confused

I used to be with Swiftcover....always the cheapest with me. But, they wouldn't touch me when I came to add my mods (strutbrace & SRI), so I went with Sky!

They were easy to deal with and no foreign call centres involved!!
Good result, me thinks! ;)

Gotta say Daz, I'm amazed that Swift have covered you with all those mods, they flatly refused to offer me a renewal when I mentioned I was planning on adding a couple of things! :bang

Funnily enough, when i quoted direct with them it said they couldnt quote, however when i went through compare the meerkat, sorry, market, it accepted the mods fine, showed up on the swift cover website and on my documents and everything seems in order so hopefully no problems
