Right, I just thought I'd go on a price comparison site and get a quote, just to see where I'm up to atm and where a couple of modifications would leave the price, so I added on Braided Brake Lines & Uprated Brakes and ... well, the price went up £500! Now surely having uprated brakes is a good thing? Yet I'd have to pay more to insure them? Can anyone explain to me the logic behind that?

if you feel the need to uprate your brakes, you are the sort of person who drives fast and brakes late.

=More risk to insure.
