so, just make sure EVERYTHING is mentioned to Admiral (also in the same group as Elephant and Bell, according to that post, so same applies there). IF they have all the details then there's no reason they couldn't refuse to pay at a claim - but if they're this bad, they're not going to be too helpful or generous...
adding mods to a policy usually entails an "admin" fee (about £20-30 depending insurer - Sky haven't charged me for any change tho
) - and some insurance policies are "mod free" ones, so if you go into one of them at the start of the year, but try to add mods during the year, you either have to void the policy & get a new one (losing any no-claim you've built up during the year) or remove mods - situation i got in with Auto Direct
So, make sure they're happy to add mods to the policy if/when you want if you sign up to one initially mod-free.
